The arts are a product of human civilization. They can bring people boundless joy, spiritual satisfaction, strength and enlightenment. For these reasons, we established the World Art Center as a professional arts organization in the U.S. state of New York, in 1999.
What we do We organize and sponsor art exhibitions, competitions, seminars, and international cultural exchanges in the U.S.A and other parts of the world.
We sponsored the Golden Swan art competition in 1999, which consisted of more than 12000 artists from 24 Countries. It was the largest art competition in the history of New York. In 2002, we sponsored the World Peace Award Art Competition. We received more than 8000 works from all over the world. We believe these competitions have made great contributions to better the understanding of human beings across international borders.
We’ve held more than 120 art exhibitions in New York and other cities.
WAC wants viewers to please their eyes and minds and for artists to be able to show their talents, and for people with different cultural backgrounds to be able to communicate with each other. One can appreciate, collect and surround themselves with beauty. We have collected more than 5000 works of art including oil paintings, water color paintings, Chinese ink paintings, calligraphic works, sculptures, porcelains, and glass.
Also we sell art works on behalf of our 52 outstanding artists. On special order, our artists will create wall paintings, oil paintings, Chinese brush paintings and portraits.
